15 (A)For when David was in Edom, and Joab the captain of the host had smitten all the males in Edom, and was gone up to bury the [a]slain,
16 (For six months did Joab remain there and all Israel, till he had destroyed all the males in Edom.)
17 Then this Hadad [b]fled, and certain other Edomites of his father’s servants with him, to go into Egypt, Hadad being yet a little child.
